Exactly!!!hmm.. you could say the same about a street 10spd automatic!!! At least the dark pony has the better Tremec. But its an even heavier car then yours.
Unfortunately is all about what targets. U want to win? A dct or sequential will be always faster.I would have liked to see the tremec XL in the car for track duty. Not a fan of DCT cars to be honest. Might be the faster option but would feel lost without the clutch.
Has Ford actually released which trans will be in the S and R? I thought they only released info on the street car DH.Exactly!!!
The difference is.. mine is a 35k street mustang .
I was really really hoping to have a DCT or sequential ( like gt4 or gt3) option.
Cause the DH R will be only race car no VIN.
They have the know how from gt500
I find it hard to believe they developed the TR-9070 DCT for a 2 year run on the current GT500 - there has to be more return on the R&D $’s already spent.Well at least they announced it about a year and half in advance so that gives the community 18 months to request that they offer the DCT as an option. I doubt it but at least for a S or R allow the consumer the opportunity to have an add on for DCT. I know that may require some more engineering but could be worth it.
