Couldn't keep pace with Matt, but I recorded a 1.59.0 lap before the timer died for the 2nd half of the day...

edit: Found more video footage...

1.57.0 - 2014 GT TP, suspension, Conti scrubs and a 200 lb passenger ;)

Some say he has a tattoo of his face on his face.
I used Harry's for the first time on Friday. Turned a 1:59 for a best in the 20 laps I used it. Based on gopro footage I knew I was around there at MRLS.

Grant 302

basic and well known psychic
MRLS: GT/Suspension/305 slicks 1:49.66 (Harry's)
Streets of Willow (CW): GT/Suspension/305 slicks 1:29.744 (Transponder)
Streets of Willow (CW): GT/P spring/street 1:32.381 (transponder)
Chuckwalla (CW): GT/P springs/street 2:10.236 (transponder)
Auto Club 'Roval' GT/P springs/street 2:06.574 (transponder)

FWIW, Harry's is pretty accurate from what I've seen when I've run both. Like the 2:10.236 at Chuckwalla was clocked at 2:10.25 by Harry's.

Here's my personal best lap of 2:13.10 at VIR during SVT Superfest, on Sunday.
Three season old RS-3's (I swear they're getting faster as they wear down to nothing!), XP24/10 pads, MM camber plates, stock shocks (5F/4R), 18mm rear bar, and Cortex wattslink (2nd pivot hole from the top).

I don't think my time would be possible without the wattslink, it's a must have for these cars!

Not a personal best, but a fun day at Limerock messing around with my Conti scrubs for the first time there. I have to sort out tire pressures though, as they have more in them but I apparently was running pressures that were too high...

Anyways, 1.01.9 in the first session.

I'll try to post up some video later

Derek,

Nice lap. track looks a lot less dusty. How do you like turn one in 4th gear. Tons of grip there just need to tell yourself it will stick. Which tires do you like better the BFG or the Conti's?

4th gear thru turns 1-2-3 worked really well for me!

I need to run the Conti's a few more times to dial in the right pressures before judging. But I do love the R1's thus far!
