Man, just scrolling through this thread, there have been a lot of these cars wadded up! I wonder if it tracks the first generation of cars in their first few years.

I would bet more were wrecked back then. Ours have far superior brakes.

Hmmm, they must have had a challenge with the Boss cars early on as that VIN is pretty low compared to mine. I wonder if they had a stack of them sitting around with some technical issue which held them up. Doesn't seem to make sense that the VIN number is lower but the Boss build number is higher.

Hardly any Bosses have been declared a salvage title, if you compare them to the FGT's. From what I understand, something like 40% of the FGT's have salvage titles.

This Boss 302 showed up at Auction in New York State with a Salvage title and Flood Damage was reported. Then some one in Germany made an inquiry about this Boss. It may have been exported to the EU.

Seen a 2012 Boss Black LS this past Sunday. Last four digits of the serial #2163 I think. Got kicked off the property taking pictures. Hard hit LF. Air bags deployed. Site will not let put up pics for some reason?

Almost certainly an animal strike. Could have been a moose, or an elk, or even just a large deer.

One of my neighbors hit a cow elk at only about 40 MPH with his Chevy Trailblazer. Totaled the Trailblazer, the elk was down for about five minutes, then got up and ran away. We saw it trailing the herd for a few weeks, then it was either well enough to mix in again, or a mountain lion got it.
