New Enkei PF01 18x10.5" with a 47mm Offset

I've been researching wheels for my car and told King at Enkei Racing Wheels what I was looking for. Well King pointed me to Dan Oliver of OutPerformance Shop in Texas. He had the same vision I had and has special ordered some of these wheels that will actually fit the rear of the Mustang.
Here is the link to their website on the Mustang Page: http://store.outperformance.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=2931
You can email Dan for more info at: [email protected]. No kickback or ties to Dan, just thought I would share the info.

More info. Cortex Racing developed these for their suspension. Any fitment questions should be directed to Filip at Cortex Racing. Here is his email: [email protected].

Both are authorized resellers of this wheel, but I am pretty sure they are the only two.

These are not actually new as alot of us have been running these for a year or more. Available at Tire Rack and Luke Pavlik ( Ext. 362 ) has assisted a bunch of us in acquiring the rims at very reasonable price. Sure the guys you talked to can also help, but wanted you to know there are others that have this rim and have been supplying many of us.

Re: New Enkei PF01 18x10.5" with a 47mm Offset

Those wheels have more offset on the 10.5 width and will tuck in tighter. So technically they are new. The last I heard is they are not available yet. These wheels have been discussed in other threads before. A friend of mine has a set on order. I purchased a set of the current wheels so I'll be able to get side by side photos of the two offsets.

Yes these have been discussed before, except that nobody seems to be able to get their hands on them. All I've ever heard is "they're on order".

It would be helpful if that website would actually state the actual availability of the product.

Hi Guys,

The new custom OutPerformance Shop & Cortex Racing wheel went through engineering & load testing. We've test fitted and confirmed fitment. We're looking at receiving our first container in less than 90 days! =)

Feel free to give me a call on Saturdays at the shop. 972-602-9484 . (Winter Hours, Saturdays only or I can reply to emails throughout the week)

Re: New Enkei PF01 18x10.5" with a 47mm Offset

Looks great. Couple questions.

1) What is the inner barrel diameter for this wheel?
2) Will these fit in the front without the cortex offset strut?

On #2 I don't think so with a tire suited to a 10.5" wide rim (285-315). The 18 x 9.5 35mm offset with a 285 on it sits about 1/2" from the strut. Rough calculations tell me that you're moving the center line out 1/2" (10.5 vs 9.5), but you're wider by 1/2" on either side which offsets that. Then you are tucking it back in 1/2" (47mm vs 35mm offset) so I think that would put a 285 1/2" closer to the strut (right up to it) if I'm ciphering correctly. Of course my brother Jeffro and I done gradyeated from the 3rd grade so you better double check my math.

Re: New Enkei PF01 18x10.5" with a 47mm Offset

I spoke with Filip Trojanek at Cortex. He said that this wheel will not fit in the front unless you have their offset struts. If someone finds out that this isn't the case, please post the specifics.

Not surprised. I tested 18x10's and there was only about 15mm clearance to the strut. That was a +35 offset, so it was as far out as possible. Knew there had to be a catch. Thanks for finding out!

So 18x10's DO fit in the front without any issue? I was curious about that as well.

There are a number of guys running 18 x 10s, you just need the correct offset. JScheier is running one from Vorshlag I believe and Dean#4A1 is running 18 x 10s as well.

I run D-Force 18x10s at all four corners with 305/650/18 Continental GTO stickies. Running a little over -3* of camber with a 60mm coil-over spring. No issues with fitment whatsoever.
