This is huge for quick brake pad swaps while endurance racing! Also answered all my questions about setup and their car.
Wish them luck during the Devil in the Dark the same week we are at the Glen!
I was actually at Thunderbolt during your maiden voyage. I remember your car sounded amazing. Tell me more about these calipers that don't need twisted. I hate doing that!! Where can I get them?

G.Obadia said:Unscrew the piston from the caliper. You will need to machine either the threads off the screw or the threads off of the bore. You can also machine both and add a sleeve.

ArizonaBOSS said:@the5 , do you have a general estimation of how much wider the CorteX cambered rear axle is at the hub face?
I have heard there is a rear track width increase with this axle. My rear wheels already poke a bit due to the odd offset for S197 but I am trying to understand how much farther out they will be if I switched to the CorteX rear. Not sure if I can get away with it even with the camber.

What cell did you use and how did you handle the pump and fuel gauge?
Also, how do you pick up fuel in both left and right turns? Did you use a hydromat?

jpt3 said:How'd they hold up?
the5 said:They have Held up great, We put over 1000 Track Miles On them in our races (9 hours Each day) and they still have life in them. If your looking for all out Grip in a Street Tire go with the RE-71R, But they dont last the weekend for us but are about 1-2 seconds faster.
the5 said:Yes, next year we are moving to a 305 Tire and hoping to pick up a decent amount, Also I wasn't shifting into second Into Oak Tree.
