Down here in Chile our Biggest and newest tack was shut down due to noise complainants. So all the other tracks are now implementing a 95db limit measured at 5m at 4000 rpm. Do you have any tips on how to keep the sound down?? Luckily I had not changed the rear exhaust from stock yet and have removed the side pipes when the Kooks catted xpipe went in. Lucky I kept the Cats!

Adding your cats back in will help.

Here in NorCal at Laguna Seca many of their track days are at 90 db and is one of the reasons why my exhaust has remained mostly stock. They do have some days at 92 and occasionally 103 but the 103 days are mostly reserved for the big races like IMSA.

Be happy you don't run at Limerock with their 86dB limit on almost all days

Other local track, Thompson Speedway, has a dB limit around 95-98 if I remember correctly. Depending on where they take measurements, cars can get away with some pretty loud exhausts.

At Limerock, for instance, they measure at the end of the main straight, so a saavy driver can let off the gas part way down the straight and sometimes get away with louder than legal. But only sometimes

It's always funny to me to hear a car come rip-snorting out of the downhill turn, then go almost dead silent, coasting down the straight through big bend (turn 1) and then blast away again :)
