Agree with Arizona, and my wife even liked the movie better than the book. The adaptation, shortened from the book, made minimal changes but, imho, it kept it to a reasonable length and lost nothing in the translation. Wife had to supposedly use the restroom when it was Enzo's time, but I was choked up more by another part of the movie -- will not state in case that is a spoiler for some who have not read the book?
Nice portrayal/part of the gentleman whose thoughts and racing tutelage was the part inspiration for the book, Kevin York - ex IMSA racer, and instructor for ProFormance Racing School at Pacific Raceways.
Ya gotta like the author, Stein , since he started racing Spec Miata about the same time I did , and those early days of the Class were phenomenal. Everyone's cars were so equal, that one tiny mistake would cause you to move backwards at warp speed.
Good movie for significant other, wife, etc., as both genders will love the show - unless they are cat people ,haha.
