Move the mufflers further back, under the fuel tank. A little bit quieter and the sound is more base, less trill.

Is this the "Rev 2" design on Terry's car?

I might go there if I get the urge for some "extreme" weight savings. Love the way the Roush exhaust sounds w/ a catless X right now.

Just had 4 sets of those delivered today. Looks like they got cleaned out this week, glad I ordered when I did.

I really dig the spring rate info for the tires, now I can match them all up in pretty close sets.

Yes I only got 2 sets, wish I'd got more -- went to order yesterday and the 285's are sold out. They still have the 305's.......

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I let the neighborhood kids wash most of the road grime from a wet 1K road trip to TWS. They couldn't reach the roof, and missed about 1/4 of the car. But it is improved :)

Nice buland. If you haven't done so changing out the door speakers is easy to do and makes a noticeable difference in sound quality.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Installed my clutch pedal extension. The pedal feels like it should given the position of the seat. I'm 5' 11" for others considering the mod. Going to take her for a spin.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Finally put my QTP's back in since the header and h-pipe install. Tried separate the side pipe from the flex joint because Kook's h-pipe outlet eliminates the need for the stock spacer if you use restrictor plates and the QTP's don't fit right. I ended up taking the pipes to a muffler shop to seperate them, cut a 1/2" off, and now they are a perfect fit and I can adjust the sound again from wife mode to my mode.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Washed and waxed, put some road film on the front, checked tires pressures and all fluids. Trunk loaded and ready to hit he road at 3am tomorrow headed to Amarillo to join the Pony Drive. Vegas or bust!!

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Finally got around to installing the 13/14 GT500 axlebacks that i've had for a year. Car's got a deeper tone now, I like it. Although the open side pipes kind of overwhelm the mufflers.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I'm half way through a Cortex Watts link install. Instructions say not to run a gasket but Lube Locker gaskets are so easy to deal with so I'll see what happens. Probably won't go so far as reusing my last gasket though. Changing out the weeping axle seal and bearings while I'm in there. Gear oil stinks.

Also, I installed an Aeroforce Interceptor guage in a Roush vent pod earlier in the week. Nice and easy install.

Once the Watts link is in, the car gets some fresh oil and will be heading to Buttonwillow next weekend.
