Boiling it sounds like a great idea but I would put in a call to MGW and make sure they dont think it will be deformed by doing that

I will just be the test dummy for it lol.

I'll make sure I do a before and after - I have a cannon sx3 or some crap that takes 1080 video

I was told approx. 4 weeks just in time for full spring

And tested out how I will rig on the trailer with my Macs tie down setup.

I managed to get off work a bit early for some therapy fun...
but of course had to charge the dead battery first... lol
first joy ride of 2013 felt wonderful... I just put the cover back on...
thunderstorms the rest of the weekend...
at least it isn't the white stuff this time...

I removed the weights from my rear axle last year. Now, I hear rear gear noise. Did you experience the same effect?

Have not driven the car without them yet. I will report today. Ford did put them there for a reason, cancelling out gear noise may have been it.
Thanks for the heads up, did you put them back on and it stopped?

Not yet. When I return from Afghanistan mid May I'll put them back on to compare.

Adjusted my new panhard bar after installing my Hotchkis springs and finished wiring my Hurst Roll Control. I tried to avoid installing the diode but during testing I got TC over-ride and codes even with the system fully shut off. Instructions said "maybe" but it happened on my first test. With the diode in place the problem went away.

Time to get the insurance put back on next week and start having fun.

Installed my one piece DS that UPS finally managed to find and gave it a much needed bath.

Today I gave the car its first piggy back ride since 2010.






And I went for a test drive, couldn't get the grin off my face looking at this view.


Drove the car for 15 miles afterwards and no rear gear whine or new noises without axle mounted dumb bells. The season is here, next Saturday Lime Rock Park with 65 Porsches and Pete 8)

Took my snows off and put my CF5s back on. Man I hated those awful 18s I bought. Getting it fully detailed right now.

Finished the install on my arp 7722 and 7723 wheel studs

Also gold taped my intake box and my intake tube
