After installing the mustang wheel/tire setup in the beginning years ago, I thought there has to be a better way to save my back, calipers, rotor and cooling deflectors. I was at the dealership about my other car & they were “skating” a disabled...
I've thought about putting the Maier 3 inch flares on the car I just like the simple look of the Chicane 23 flare better. Plus I already have the Chicane 23 flares on the back of the car so I could leave the back of the car alone. If I went to... (see full post)
Trackspeed Premium Trackday - Serres Racing Circuit - 26.04.2026After the A1 event I took the car to the dealer. The Brakes Master and Booster were replaced and a fresh SRF fluid was fed to the brakes. I decided it's time to switch to 5W50 so I... (see full post)
Another S550 build. One lesson leaned, my braided brake lines from the previous GT500 calipers in that the lines are not compatible. Had to replace those for the 550 Brembos.
Not acceptable engineering. Return for refund. Here are my rear camber arms of choice https://aadperformance.com/collections/mustang/products/2015-mustang-s550-rear-camber-teailing-arm
At the request of @Junkyard Dog here is the link to my BL Fabrications turbo install. It has been quite a journey, with challenges appearing almost every step of the way, but so far, I’ve been able to adapt and overcome those challenges. I’m very...
Copy that Junkyard Dog. Ask and you shall receive…I am currently deep into the weeds on the install and it has been extremely challenging at almost every turn. So much has had to be modified, but I’ve made a considerable amount of progress thus...

I have some theories on this since my Gt500 does same thing occasionally. For some reason modern trannies use what is basically automatic trans type coatings instead of real brass synchro rings like God intended. This means that they are highly... (see full post)
I would not go with a 40 aspect ratio but a square set is the way to go. Many of us have run 18x11s, and with a spacer and some longer ARP style studs a nice set of 315/30/18s will give you a stick like glue feel on track.
Now BS I am talking about the rim of the wheel as the knurl is on the inside of said rim so don't get so excited .....you did notice I said wheel when appropriate, ha!
Ha, ha, ha, positive proof old farts should not type while watching TV. Let's rephrase that goofy post of mine to read, "If you damage a wheel Apex will sell you a replacement for only 50% of retail. " Now that does sound better doesn't it...

2 Hole saws is really all you need. First one the same size as the current hole and the second your larger hole. Use the first one to cut a timber plug that you use as the centering for the larger hole saw. Same concept as the jig just simpler...
