Re: What did you do to your boss today?

If I was blindfolded, put into the vehicle and not told it had different springs, I would be none the wiser.

That said, I need to spend more time in the car, over different road surfaces to get a better idea of how much the ride has changed. I did think I noticed that if the spring was more compressed due to a raised bump in the road like a pothole patch, the spring did seem to firm up briefly.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Installed Grabber Blue BOSS 302 shifter knob. Sweet. If you guys want to keep the factory look with the stock shifter boot, try this spacer/jam nut:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SATIN-2010-MUSTANG-SHIFT-KNOB-BOOT-RETAINER-ADAPTER-FOR-MANUAL-SHIFTER-M12X1-25-/200845145911?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AMustang&hash=item2ec34db737&vxp=mtr

I put a bolt thru it and locked it with a nut, chucked the bolt tip in a drill, turned it using 80 grit sandpaper and it now has the brushed look of the factory shifter. Looks great and reasonably priced.

I'm at Spring Mtn with about fifty Bosses and Shelby's. Getting ready to go kill some more S/C cars again today. Susp mods are working very well. I haven't been passed yet!

Ford Racing BOSS 302S (Laguna Seca) wheels mounted today. WOW!

Curious, how many of you would have ordered these if Ford had offered them as an option on the regular Boss?

I would have the black ones but not the red ones that come on the 12 LS's

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Flushed the ATE Amber with fresh Super Blue on the optimistic assumption it will be above freezing some day so I can test out the Winter Mods II on the track :-\

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I looked at the box of front and rear pads and decided it was still too cold to sit on the garage floor.... Next event is now 4/6 with the PCA since my event today was cancelled because the runoff areas still resenbled a ski slope.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Changed my brake fluid to dot4 and tried out the power pump bleeder thing, it didn't work for some reason. It seems that applying pressure the brake fluid reservoir doesn't do anything. Oh well, it's done now.
