I've had my LS splitter on my car for the last 6 months without a problem on the street. As long as I keep my distance when pulling into a parking spot and go up my driveway at a bit of an angle I'm fine. I've never had it scrape while driving down the road.
Nice car. She was cute too.One thing I really can't stand is when they insist on shifting an automatic like it's a stick. I watched the John Cusack move "Drive Hard" last week just because it had a '69 Mach I in it. The movie was pretty bad but the car was nice, right hand drive too. But...
Got my Boss Registry in the mail this week, #0092.For the NJ Boss owners I think it's fine on the windshield, it's well below the clear part of the windshield. Here's what mine looks like.
The X-brace does have some stiffening effect. I don't race but there's a turn near my house that has a bit of a dip in it. Sometime I can hear the X-brace shift a bit on the turn. I think one of the bolts needs to be tightened.
Here's another angle. I get a young kid doing this, but this guy is old enough to know better. I guess he didn't have the traction control on!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZrrvIx3eSo
I got this keychain on ebay last month for the track key. It's a heavy, quality keychain. It ships from Australia so it took a while. I removed the chain so the keychain wouldn't hit me in the knee.
Yes, I did struggle a bit with the title, yours would have been better. I get your theory and it goes to what I was trying to point out which I did somewhat poorly. My intention was not to bash ford, I'm a ford fan (obviously), it was to show how large corporations can make dumb decisions. I...
I took my car in to the local ford dealer for the first time to get the oil changed. The previous owner paid for the maintenance plan so it's free or I would just do it myself. While checking in with the service advisor he told me there was a recall for the airbag. I told him I knew about it...
My recommendations are more daily driver related. If you live in the burbs I'd recommend installing the QTP exhaust cutouts. I drive mine daily and leave the house at 5:30am during the week. I leave the side exhaust closed in the morning and open them up on the way home and definitely on...
I went to this show last month and it was worth the trip. There are a lot of high end cars (4 maclaren's last time) along with the usual mustangs, vette's etc. Last month there was one other Boss, a few classic mustangs. It starts at 8 and people started heading out after 10. I'll be there...
As an IT guy it's really sad they can't manage to get their new system to load the trackey software. A company as big as Ford should not have a problem like this.
