i noticed today that the shelby clutch-fluid reservoir has a leak. unfortunately i hadn't the time to remove it from the boss and search the leak. half of the fluid is gone out.

Feel your pain! Also noticed that I have a radiator leak, hopefully tomoro I'll take her apart and look.
Fingers crossed for loose hose or clamp

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I took note of how much stuff is starting to pile up. Hopefully can pull the car out next weekend if weather is good and the salt is gone.

Put on some Lamin-X protective headlight covers. The light blue tint is subtle but should provide some protection both on the track and on the street. It's pretty thick stuff and went on easy. Was looking for something different, something that could cover the lenses while on the track but could only find something that used double sided tape which make it difficult to remove for the street,

I put light smoke ones on my Boss a couple years ago. Work great for protecting the lens. Although the light smoke reduces brightness at nite, but I don't drive the Boss much at nite.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Houston Performance had a dyno day. 2 pulls for $50.00.
395.54 hp/ 341.05ftlb
385.51hp/ 337.32ftlb
The car is as I got it with Borla mufflers and a K&N filter, running the red key.
Average numbers?
There were a lot of Mustangs there, along with one Hellcat and one Paxton equipped Factory 5 Cobra.
Everyone else at least had nitrous.

IIRC, a stock Boss 302 U-Code engine lays down 368 - 376 RWHP, so your numbers are above average. I don't recall the stock TQ numbers, but someone will post the stats.

Nice job at pulling 395.5 HP on your first run.

Where are you moving in SoCal? Lost of good driving and tracks in the area. Best wishing in the relocation.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Getting ready for the track season. Changed the engine, transmission and diff oils. Also replaced front rotors and slapped on a fresh set of XP24s, thanks to KNS!

All I have left to do is bleed the brakes with some fresh SRF, install the trailer brake light harness and assemble my tire trailer. I'll probably make a thread to post pictures of the trailer build.

Nice.

Where did you find the fascia inlet? They look like carbon fiber.
They are. I got them from Kohr Motorsports, Dean Martin has a few Boss 302S front brake duct kits in stock from the original build. . They are a bit pricey but the only clean way to go 4 inch. You need to trim some plastic out of the way to fit them. The Rotor plates are Carbon Fiber too.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Added this Ford rear vent kit to the drivers side axle tube where the factory installed a plug. I routed it up and to the left away from the exhaust and its vents into the open area above the axle instead of to the top of the diff cover. I left the vent on top of the diff cover in place.

The white delivery truck dropped off my Jegs order of Redline MTL and Motul 600 brake fluid.
Need to find time to get those swapped out, along with diff fluid.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Installed Blowfish front tow hook assy, center mount that clears front plate.

Great instructions and easy install. Getting bumper cover back on was a bit or a PIA but overall about 1 hr start to finish. ;D

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Worked with Pete at Track Day Solutions for some custom graphics for my car. I wanted to go with a carbon fiber vinyl material which wasn't offered but after sending some material to test and some trail runs with the material, Pete came through. I have a windshield banner and another decal for the rear bumper that I haven't applied yet but I was able to throw one on the shock tower brace and really dig how it came out. I'm very pleased with the results and would recommend Pete and Track Day Solutions highly.

How about a photo, Dave??? Looking to add to my Yellow Blaze this spring as well.

Didn't bother to take pictures, but if I had it would look just like the photos on the Blowfish page:
