Nice driving Nick. It was great running into you at this event again this year. Your driving looks awesome. Very consistent g's through the corners and very smooth transitions.
Figured I'd post my best lap before all the Phoenix guys obliterate what I was happy with just a day ago. My best lap of the event was 2:13:12 on a stock Boss with Conti slicks and camber plates. The new track surface seems to have very good grip and the smooth brake zones are really helpful.

Wow great lap Steve! 8) You would have easily run a sub 2:33 without the S197 slowing you down exiting 5 and having to take 8 from the inside.voodoo child21 said:
Try exiting 13 out onto the cutoff for the short course at the Billy Mitchell bridge and you might be able to pick up another couple tenths.

Just ran 2 days at VIR(Full Course) was first time for several things for me. 1st time at the track, 1st time running 305/660/18 Pirelli's square. Was previously running the 275 Contis
Definitely my new favorite track. My only issue was 3:73 gearing is not ideal for this track, I ran out of rpms between 12-14, and the run into turn 1, I tried 6th a few times, but it just killed to much momentum.

2nd day best lap: 2:06:10

Did a couple days at Thompson last month. New personal best. 1:20.5 2012 boss stock A7 tires ST43 brake pads. What great brake pads. Built a 85.5 SVO mustang race prepped for the Chumpcar series. We ran Thompson 7/2. 18 cars signed up for the race, we made it 5 hrs did 171 laps with 4 drivers ton of fun. We were running 5 th to 8 th till it broke. car turned 1:29.9 on street tires.

Steve - I watched the last 6 minutes, plus some. Easy to get consumed while watching these vids, especially on a track that I love. You are very smooth in your driving, not upsetting the car. Nicely done!voodoo child21 said:
