Haven’t posted here on the forum much about the progress I’ve made rebuilding the 21 car after the fire at VIR last February. We decided to go full race with the car and performed a 100% gut out and rebuild with fresh parts and full Watson cage done by Steve Poe and Ricky Reynolds. I was trying to have the car ready for Fall Fest at VIR in 2 weeks but we are going to come up a little short so instead of rushing I decided to target 2018 Winterfest as the first flight of the Phoenix. (Apologies to Rob and Joe Aquilante). Special thanks go to Steve K (2012Boss), Pete D (Pete In CT), Nick (BlackBoss), John (JAJ), Bill (wwilde) and Tim at OPMustang for their help in so many ways, whether providing free parts, yes FREE, or many hours of free labor, or just being there in person or on the phone when I just felt like quitting the sport and setting the whole pile on fire again. Thanks guys.
Here are some progress pics.

My god you have been very busy. I'm very glad to see the 21 will live on. I have never meet you but feel like I know you from following your threads. The 21 has been through a lot and its better days are only ahead. Will there be any changes on the looks of the 21. Your car was one of a kind.
I'm sure there are plenty of go fast parts finding there way onto the 21. Keep all the fish fed with progress. I'll be looking for that feeding!;)

Pretty cool, Steve. Nick said that you were digging hard to get back.

And...I have a C.C. named Catherine too!
Tough cookie.

Looking good. I hope you're back on track soon. Love the graphics too!

Me 2!

Steve, after pulling every go fast part off of my LS and reassembling her to the stock configuration, I can only imagine what you have had to do and the time and effort you have put into your car to get it where it is. Looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks.

That is so much work and you must feel good to finally be able to see light at the end of the tunnel.

OBTW, Nice Clutch selection!
