Sadly, Sweet Lorraine will be lonesome this weekend as the family and I are heading up to the mountains in the travel trailer for the weekend. Then one more weekend to get her ready for Hastings. I may not be able to beat Pemberton on the track but I can pass him in the paddock!

Florida's in the path of Hurricane Dorian. May make landfall late Sunday as a Cat 4 or maybe even a 5! Prayers for those going to be affected by this disaster!!

Our company is preparing for relief efforts post storm.
Traditionally, once a storm goes through we push pallets of product to stop mosquito populations from exploding. All free to folks who were hit by disasters. This one may be huge.

Had the Boss out yesterday with me and Son. I let him drive.Now I know why the MPG display is always lower when he brings the Boss back................It has NOTHING to do with idling.............which I knew all along...............

The Boss has never had a problem with leg stretching...I saw to that .....Son just doesn't coast to a stop but comes up fast and uses more brake that way.....Coast to get the most.....Drive like you stole in between.......

Labor Day..........clouds and showers around, low 70's. Yesterday was the day to have your cook-out around here. Boss was out Sat & Sun....Son driving both days..I'm still not right with my pinched nerve.............................................

Driving from Omaha to northern Illinois. My new GT350R averaged 25.6 MPG. Great mileage, that's why I bought the car. LOL

That's great highway MPG!I don't think I ever topped 20 in the Boss. But then again I never take many highway trips..........and now with my Son taking out "our" Boss more, I may be lucky to hang on to double digits...

Was there a Valet mode in the '12 Boss.....That may be one way to keep Son from over doing it.....I know there was a dealer mode when it got shipped, but I think that was a one tyme deal.

You can have a key programmed to limit speeds etc.. Give this to the valet or anyone you choose.

I believe you do. Read that funny little book that keeps falling out of the glove box. Instructions should be in there. I believe its called My Key.

You can control max speed as well as entertainment system sound levels. Has this saved at least one teenager from an early "Learning Curve"? Likely so.

Thanks TMS...I got my homework cut out for me.......................Son's 26 but still "sowing his oats" when it comes to driving that Boss on his own......as I was back in the day with my 442...........................That link will be very helpful............
