2016 401A performance pack GT with all the boxes ticked.

Plans are for it are simple, some gt350 styling bits, dampers/springs (it's terribly floaty, best mustang yet but still not as grounded and precise as I'd like), and mufflers. Leaving the powertrain alone, and skipped the GT350 to keep more cash available for the racing budget. Some day....

No mo warranty voiding :( I don't want to buy any more motors for at least a couple of weeks lol. I know fp warranties them but I'll wait until I hear how people who break them are handled.

Want this to truly meet the "daily" driver requirement, or come closer than my last 5-6 attempts

Chris that's a sharp looking Mustang. I really like the ruby red with black wheels.

A successful first weekend was had (huge thanks to @ArizonaBOSS who pulled the car down to the track and ran crew chief for me all weekend)

The car ran really well right out of the box. there was a lot of prep work left to be done, but we didn't have to do much other than retorque a couple suspension items and change pads.

As for the driver, I had plenty of rust to knock off, but the 4 year old pirelli scrubs gave me an ample opportunity to work on car control. I purposely didn't record much data, but word out there was 1:04's, with 58-59 being race pace. Given my first date with the old gal, I'm ok with the gap. I know what I need to work on, and what could be had with more brake confidence and better tires. We'll get it to the next event and go from there, but was nice to roll out, just unload the car and go racing.

A couple pictures:

Rained out Sunday, but still tried a very short session:

One session with a passenger, I cut it short after dipping a couple off from either mental, or tire fatigue or likely both:

All in all, I'm happy that the car performed beyond my expectations, had little to no issues, and was brought home safe and sound. I'll post up some more media as I find it. I hope people took some pictures on track.
