TMSBOSS
Spending my pension on car parts and track fees.
Yep, #8 is what blew in my Boss motor but mine went BOOM.
That's one reason I am optimistic, No New Noises. Quiet and smooth running. My gut is telling me head gasket. We shall see.
Has anyone used the ARP head and stud kit? If the stock bolts are the issue, this should fix the problem.
Pistons, Rods, Rings, Moroso pan, Ford Oil pump, ARH headers and Boss pipe costs less than an Aluminator short block. If the block is good, I will likely freshen up the bottom end with near bullet proof internals, add upgraded valve springs and a tune. If I get 450RWHP after I will be tickled. Cobra Jet intake, cams and TB are Not in the budget at this time.
