If you ever get to Lincoln, NE, they have an amazing museum. Huge amount of very early (Model A based?) and Flathead racing & hotrod parts and full engines, Sprint & Indy cars from different decades, a big room with many hundreds of toy & model cars, a small room dedicated to tether racers, etc. Take a full day to really enjoy.
One key note is that they have numerous catalogs , so if requesting one you will want to be specific. Don't just state for racing, as often you will get the circle track catalog. One thing folks in Nebraska are not even aware of is they have a small little area similar to a Parts Window at a Dealership and you can pop in there and buy direct from them. Super handy as one way to try on helmets or racing suits.
the Speedway museum is worth the time.. the stairwell walls are covered in vintage lunch boxes... they even have a Tucker that runs... the hours are covid crazy so plan ahead if you want to go..
