So, airlflow to the brakes , do you feel one is better than the other or are they pretty similar? I know loss of weight is always good and the Hartman deflectors do have the " Damn those are pretty " factor!

I think I spy something with my little eye but could be completely wrong lol. Doesn't look like a 5.0 control arm? either GT500 or 24+
GT500. Custom machined PP2/Mach 1 steel knuckle to take advantage of the improved GT500/late GT350 geometry.

Did a few things prepping for Ozarks July 4 weekend. Some serious and 1 for fun. Pulled the whole remote oil filter assembly and the mile of associated hoses and installed the Dark Horse R filter/cooler adapter with a few parts from @Black Boss and the -12 adapters from Capaldi Racing who fabricates them for the program. Took about 3 pounds out and really simplified the hoses and oil path. One thing to ensure is to use the oil pressure sensor appropriate to your specific car. I had the S650/DHR sensor in the adapter and it plugs right into my S550 connector. But upon start up the gauged pegged to 100 psi+, which isn't unusual but there was no movement at all which is. Then I got a LOW OIL PRESSURE warning light which scared me for a second but I knew wasn't real. Shut it down and painfully swapped sensors as access is limited but got it done fired it up and all is normal.

Second project was installing Nicks' spare/spare/spare radio, which he graciously donated to the cause, more so I believe that he and Sam can now harass me over the radio while on track to go quicker, not just when we look at video and data and they have a laugh.

Finally did a little decorative mod as a nod to the Wood Brothers Mercury's of the 1960s-1980s era. Some Chrome windshield moldings. I think it looks cool and the stolen valor is even better. 21 Chrome2.jpg21 Chrome1.jpgRadio 1.jpgoil adapt3.jpgoil adapt2.jpgOil adapt1.jpg

Hey Steve. I always look forward to updates on your car and the reasonings behind the changes.

Is this the oil adapter you are using? I ask because I contacted Capaldi a few years ago about it and how they got the oil pressure. I would prefer to use it but would know where to get pressure from if I don’t have available ports on the filter relocation mount(Improved Racing). I prefer to use this over the ford performance adapter.

Those are the fittings that make it -12AN compatible. You still need the S650 Dark Horse oil filter adapter to bolt these to. The Ford Dark Horse oil cooler uses push in pipes that are retained with screws into the block. The part from Ford is $350 +/-, the Capaldi fittings add about $150 more. Oil pressure comes on the block adapter as stock, it is a metric fitting, which is 2018 and up.

Ohhh. I’m an idiot. I thought they go directly to the block. They came on the FP350S too I believe. I see how everything connects now. Thank you.

Cam swap B.jpgCam swap A.jpgCam swap3.jpgCam swap2.jpgCam swap1.jpgDoing the GSC Power Division cam swap (still) and everything is out and inspected. All is in like new condition after 18 hours run time on this engine. Will be reusing the Boss 302R tensioners and guides with fresh phasers, chains and bolts. Can’t wait to have it back together with the GSC Power-Division Stage 1 N/A cams tuned by Ken Osborne at OZ Tuning with technical support through Optimum Performance Racing, LLC and miscellaneous parts from Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Dyno time with Logan Cross and Elijah White at RPG Performance Shop. Going to get it rolling in a little while.

Hey Steve. Do you have any pictures of the MXG install? I contemplating between the MXP and MXG
@EF1 doesn't know it yet, but he will help me finish wiring this on Saturday.
