The R is on the move

My car left Flat Rock on Saturday and made it ~130 miles to Battle Creek, MI before the train broke down ;-)
Weather.com suggests a high of 24 degrees today in Battle Creek...last night it was down to around 12 degrees...so much for those Cup 2's staying above 32!

So, 130 miles down and only ~2,300 to go ;-)

Avalanche Grey, black / red stripes, standard roof. No electronics package.
So far, based on some tracking on another forum, it's a '1 of 1' car. There are only two other non-electronics package 2016 R's that have been built (both, curiously, are also AG...and one of those guys is on this forum as well) but both have black roofs - one with stripes and one without. I know is slicing hairs but, at this point, it's the only interesting factoid I have on the car. ;-)

I suspect that the 'interchange' references the transfer of the railcar from Canadian Railway to Union Pacific / CSX / some other carrier as Canadian doesn't appear to have lines that run all the way to CA (California, that is)

I grew up out that way...my Grandmother used to live in Riverdale. Spent many days there as a kid.
BIG railway switching depot near there.
