We are about to break a record... 71* in Denver today. I'm sure we'll freeze in Hell come March though... but not me :)

Took the car out of hibernation. Disconnected the trickle charger, took off the cover and rode her around town. It's going to be nice in Denver all weekend and I want to give the MGW Race Spec shifter a good test. My headers came back from the coaters and should arrive next week to join all the other exhaust mod parts piled up in the garage.

What lurks behind this door?

Thanks Dave! I feel like I'm so far away from finding preferred settings...so much more to do and adjust now!

:) I'll make sure to pay it forward too ;)

Took a couple of short test drives, and the difference in grip is a-freaking-mazing!

Now that's just pretty right there...

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I installed my new Sparco seat along with the Watson seat bracket and Sparco side mounts. New holes had to be drilled to fit the side mounts but it wasn't bad. This seat setup is soooooooo much better than my bottom mounted Corbeaus.

I also installed a NRG suede race wheel, quick disconnect, and short hub. Slowly making my way towards "racecar status" :)

Welded in. Not the prettiest thing but it's strong!

Side mounts mocked up with new holes (I went back and painted everything later)

Very Nice Logan, I need to learn how to weld or have you make a trip out west!

Ha, thanks! I'm actually not very good. I usually just make a mess of things when I try. Luckily I have a friend that is way better than me and helped me out with this one :) I did some of the welding on my exhaust, but it just takes a lot of practice.

I should pick it up next Friday and my next track day is scheduled for March 14th at Thunderhill.

Logan, if you don't have one, you should start a separate thread for your build.

I think I will. Good idea.

That picture makes me cold!

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

^That does make me feel cold.
In contrast, took her for a spin in the 74º sunny SoCal weather:

The 'vette owner in the background was kind enough to admit to me he was trying his best to keep up with me. Never saw him in my mirrors. ;)

Nice stance...how did she feel with the new suspension?

Thanks! But the static 'stance' isn't setup to look so great. I'm not running taller ball joints and bumpsteer, so I started the front suspension geometry at close to the stock Boss height. So the front LCAs are pretty close to level. The car felt great compared to my old setup with LS struts and Boss shocks on P springs.

Good news is that even with my crap driving and a new setup, I netted a 3 second gain over my last time there on R-S3s. And that was with a passenger and a hay bale kink/gate that was added on the downhill back straight (CW). So I'm pretty well sold on CorteX/JRi and takeoff Pirellis!

3 seconds is huge. Well done.
