Ironically, I do have a distilled water jug that can be opened with one hand that is primarily for hand washing ::) ;) It just didn't make *this* trip.

Next time I gotta remember the JB weld too ;)

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Not with my Boss, but I did just get back from driving a friends with a spherical upper rear arm and R888s. In the rain...those are some scary tires. So now I know what I am getting into with a spherical rear...I thought the diff was bad at first! And he has the full Kooks quad exhaust/LTs. I am sure I woke up all my neighbors even though I was trying to be sneaky lol. I got back from the airport (baby sitting her for him) at 5AM and she let out a terrifying crackle when I shifted in front of my house.

^ :)

Lost an allen wrench that I use for adjusting the struts somewhere in the vicinity of the front fender. :( No clue where it sprung to.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I had an open track day at Waterford hills raceway, very rainy with 48 F temp. One word "humbling" experience.

The almost worn Rivals did very poorly then I put the OEM P zeros up front (I have the front tires only) and again did poorly. My confidence was very low and pretty much everybody was passing me.

Humbling experience indeed. A wet skip pad training should be high in my list. Good luck finding such a thing in Michigan.

Changed rear pads, caliper pins & dust seals, engine oil, diff fluid, drained diff breather and got new Contis mounted.

Off to VIR tomorrow for a Monday/Tuesday session with Chin :)

Chin is the best club to run with…about 3 1/2 hours of track time each day….aside from them giving you a sales pitch from all their sponsors at the drivers meeting for an hour it was good. Very interesting drivers meeting to say the least but awesome group to run with. Just ran NCM with them again this weekend for the second time :)

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Joined the 'destroyed OEM clutch club' at Sebring on Sunday.

It lasted longer than most, I can't really complain too much. Haven't taken a look at it yet, but by the way it's acting I'm pretty sure one of the springs on the pressure plate broke.

Time to start shopping.

How many miles did you have when it blew?

I am Very happy with the RST I put in my Boss.

Easy engagement, does not grab. Very light pedal.

Made shifting at speed very smooth. I did not realize how much drag the stock clutch put on shifting process until I swapped in the RST.

Recommend.

Good luck with Clutch rebuild.

5300-ish. Probably 2-3k of those miles on track. While that isn't much, I have escaped all of the lockout, spongy shifting, and clutch pedal stuck on the floor problems until now. Which is why I consider myself lucky.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I've got 14k on my original clutch and transmission. I don't want to swap it out yet because the car is still under warranty. Kind of waiting on the transmission to break then I'll have them throw a new clutch and flywheel in there while it's apart :) That's the plan anyway

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Sunday I finished installing the SS brake lines.
Tonite, I put in new ATE yellow brake fluid (still have 1 sealed blue for next year), greased the LCAs, and inspected all hardware to make sure it was still tight.
Also checked the stock UCA. The rubber inserts still appear to be OK. Maybe next spring I'll take the plunge and put the Steeda spherical on the diff, and replace the UCA.
Also made an appointment for the O-Ring TSB. I'm well past getting that done.
A few things left to get ready for 3 days at Raceway Park of the Midlands with Midwest Stangs.
