Honestly...a gen3 is a good one. I wouldn't touch it . Just run 93 or more octane or ethanol. The secret is the cooling more than anything else. What u said about the oil pump and friends... Honestly maybe just the oil pump. Tensioner and...-

I wouldn't be shocked to see that after a couple of laps on 1 set of tires that the outer edges were nearly bald as there's not much in the way of tread out there anyway.
