Tramps like us, Baby we were born to run...
Yes Bob, we've had pretty clean air for over a week now. Thanks for checking in!

My lovely Wench tells me that the hoarding is back. The local Costco was full of folks with carts full of TP and bottled water. Can't tell if it's March all over again or the elections. Folks are feeling uneasy these days. I still blame the media for spreading this hate fueled frenzy. I didn't hate Obama, I don't hate Trump and I'm not going to hate whomever wins the election. I will support who wins and hope that they do good for our country rather than serving as a "tool" for their political party, after all it's about all of us, not them.

I just want to get back to the track in 2021. Believe it or not, I miss not changing tires for Pemberton.

PS: TMS - once again sir, thank you for your service!

I may have to wander out to a Colorado track in 2021, the old body is falling apart and I can use you to change my tires ...................unload the car, fill the fuel tank, clean the windshield, check the tire pressure, torque the lug nuts ( heck, I am still using your nuts , er....... better rephrase that ), check the oil level, etc.

Thinking about that and your help , 2021 is looking good!!!!

Glad you guys got the snows , it was getting close to Estes Park and after the tragedy in Grand Lake the worst fire in Colorado history did not need more dreadful news.

A bit off target, but maybe a nice distraction, we finished 3rd at Laguna Seca, if we top 10 at the last race in Sebring we win the IMSA GS championship for Astin Martin and the driver's championship as well.
With regards to California, those guys have really swallowed the whole COVID pill, you can be fined $100 for not having a mask on, even if it's in the middle of a field with no one around. I remember the 60s when it was "question the government" now it's "stop drop and blow for Newsom", what a sad looking bunch of people in that state.. it's sad to see the cowering going on.

Tyme, glad to hear things are settling down out in "God's Country".....

I know Bill has asked to have this locked up, as, like with most discussions on Covid everywhere online, this has gotten political and some of the same rhetoric is seeping in. I'd like to leave it open so that it can serve as what Bill envisioned when he posted it. We're seeing some good bits of info here and there, and hopefully we get more people to reply who are being affected. I'd just assume lock it though if it starts looking too much like social media. Anyone can PM me privately about it if you like.

I agree with keeping this running - Covid has a lot of emotion attached, but the crew on this forum has kept the discussion respectful in the face of obvious frustration. As for fires and floods, they're awful and everyone's coping as best they can. In 2017 where I live, we had record floods in the spring and record forest fires in the summer. None of it affected me or my family directly, but it was awful for those who were affected. Three years on, the recovery is still not complete for many. This year was our break year - we had heavy smoke from WA, OR and CA fires but we had almost nothing in our own backwoods.
