“Some stories need to be written, while others have a tendency to write themselves.”

This statement reigns true for Matt Paige’s GT350 build. If you ever have the fortune of meeting Matt you will quickly learn about his meticulous nature. That attention to detail has translated itself into the build process for his Avalanche GT350. All avid track enthusiasts understand the importance of getting the right parts at the right time. Luckily, our time came to provide a set of track ready Signature Wheel SV702 for his build. The wheels only make up one part of this story, and I think the rest is better told in Matt’s own words. Check out his impressions from his most recent track day at Sonoma Raceway and parts list below.

“As far as results on track the most notable improvement has been the reduced feeling of un-sprung weight. Transitions (particularly the esses) are far more easy to manage and the car changes direction with much less effort. The increased track width in the rear has helped a TON. The car feels more balanced front to back now with the setup I'm running (31mm spacers in front). Another added benefit with the square setup of 11" wheels over the OEM 10.5" is the sidewall rollover (possibly unique to the GY 3R tires I run) is no longer an issue. The sidewalls feel more consistent and I'm not feeling as washed out on the front end. I'm pushing the car probably 15% harder just due to the fact that I have more confidence in the setup and more accurate feeling from the grip on all 4 corners. I improved my PB at Sonoma by over 1.5 seconds with worn tires and boiled brake fluid and rotors that are on their last leg. So takeaways are un-sprung weight, better sizing, consumable cost savings for rotations (HUGE) and good god do these wheels look ridiculously sexy. I have never been more happy with a build from top to bottom. Final note is no BS, I have bought thousands of dollars of aftermarket high end parts, and this customer experience from front to back was head and shoulders above all others 110%. When I am paying a premium for a service or product I expect premium communication, ease of accessibility and accurate delivery on promises in a timely manner. This entire process delivered on all of those aspects of business (if not exceeding my expectations which they did). This is what creates a return customer....and I will be for sure”

I've Been following his build since just about the beginning and it is amazing the amount of detail work he has done. Everything about the car is just perfectly done and is just right for the type of track car it is at the moment, not over or under done and he also has a really nice garage setup. The wheels really did kick it up a notch to me and look amazing.

Nice words man. I know Matt put a lot of work into the car. Cool to see him out enjoying the fruits of his labors

Unbelievably beautiful car and great number choice too! This machine has to intimidate it's competitors simply due to it's attention to detail and beauty. Love the pop given with the red rims and thanks for the post!

Wow! I didn't know you posted this here!? Thank you for the complements, it's finally exactly where I want it and the wheels were the finishing touch. Cars tend to be a form of therapy for me and this one in particular is pretty special.
