I called 435-27-77333 this afternoon, they took my info, credit card and I'm going 14 and 15 May (second day with the FR500S).

I missed out on the first go-a-round and wasn't going miss this one.............

Sweet. Thank you for posting the information! Now I can start planning my vacation for next summer 8) Might even make a road trip out to Utah with the wife. Only a 22 hour trip...and with the Boss that just means 22 hours of fun. Just went on a Mustang cruise yesterday with 60 other Mustangs...now that was a blast.

The story is a guy in Canada ordered Kona Blue and white and later changed his order to Blaze Yellow. Evidentally the factory screwed up and changed the paint color but not the striping. The guy later cancelled the order completely and the present owner bought it from the dealer. It looks GREAT in the pics he brought. I agree, I would NOT be driving the car. I would have put it in a trailer and hauled it to Barrett-Jackson! As Rich said, so far it's a great event...people are super...museum is fantastic...top notch facility...but today we drive!!!

Yellow and white was a legitimate colour combo as shown in the Canadian Order Guide. The combo also appears in the Speed Channel video if you look carefully. It was only available in Canada, though it didn't appear in the promotional material.

The wife and I are looking at April 9 to go. I can't go later than the dates in May (deployment) so hopefully they don't book up as work won't let me know until like Feb-March. Lame.

FYI...some have asked to do a third day. While I would love to accommodate them on track it simply doesn't work. Off track however...have a peek at this:

We have 900 acres across the street to run these Baja 1000 race cars on, and a 1.1 mile short course on site as well as the west desert along the Pony Express route, among others. I've driven these in Baja and to Wendover, NV and back, they are sick! If you are interested in tying this into your trip let me know. It can't always be accommodated but I've a number of them I'm working with currently.

Yeah...I call these Baja cars "stupid fun"...you can't help but grin when you drive them. I'm trying to arrange Baja runs after BTA for my guys so they already have a sharpened skill set when they get into something so foreign to them. BTW...the black car in the video I posted is chassis #2...that car is about 15 years old with countless miles and who knows how many races on it. These things are like the Terminator...tough to kill!

P/M me despite there being some time until your car is built...it's never too early to get you started in the system, helps me to stay organized.

You could go and take their one day school in the GT's which is a similar curriculum if not identical. You just won't get a "Piston Cup" trophy.

That is eventually what I will end up doing, I'm sure. If I do it I will go for at least a 2-day school, unless I am already out there for another reason.

Yes that. Really cool. I was not sure what TSA would think of it so I checked it in my bag. When I opened my bag at home there was a paper in the bad saying my checked luggage was inspected. They probably saw it on the X-Ray and what WTF?
