Pretty sure I saw this car on eBay. Body panels were replaced and most or all of the graphics were missing, but original panels included with the sale.

Maybe you guys can decipher the serial number on my car. I would love to know more history. Boss302R1LCR002

My guess is its a BIW or built chassis. This is the 2nd chassis built by "LCR". I don't know who LCR is but I'm sure it wouldn't take long to figure it out by looking at IMSA, WC, and Trans Am race results.

Boss 302R 022

Serial#: ???

I'm told by the owner that this is Boss 302R 022. Unfortunately it was crashed hard and parted out. The owner told me they are scrapping the remaining chassis. I offered to buy it so I could try to save it. When I asked if the serial numbers were still on the chassis the owner went silent and he hasn't returned my calls or texts. Seems a little fishy. It will be interesting to see if a Boss 302R 022 turns up later down the road...

Hmmm, did they make any R's in 2013? From the photo's it looks like a 2013 (trim and wing) which leads me to believe it might be an 302S.

They had leftover 302R chassis available in 2013.

I doubt this chassis is a 302S for the below reasons.

Lacks 302S Specific parts:
-Rear Spoiler
-Front Splitter
-Trunk Mounted Battery
-Aluminum Center Stack Switch Panel

Has 302R Specific parts:
-Carbon Fiber Center Stack Switch Panel
-Fuel Cell
-Quick Release Truck Latches
-Seam Welded Body
-Clutch Fluid Reservoir
-Engine Compartment Mounted Battery
-ECU Heat Shield
-Cowl Mounted Kill Switch
-Cowl Mounted Fire Extinguisher Pull

FWIW...You guys might keep an eye on the Phoenix mustang that won the SPGP. It was the last pro win for the Boss 302 platform, and that car never lost a race in SCCA or PWC..it was 11 and 0, including (I think) the pole and win at a couple of runoffs. It was built from a salvage title by Phoenix and may still be for sale if someone hasn't bought it. It was my favorite car of the 8 or 9 that Phoenix built.
I won't bet my life on it but I think this is the same car..

Will have to get some pics up , but 2013 Boss 302S ( #18 of 50 ) is now in a garage in the Heartland of America. Tymeslayer will be tickled to find I traded backwards as my beautiful GT 350 is gone to be replaced by a equally attractive White S!!! Just wanted to get back to a full blown race car and have wanted an S for 3-4 years. Heh, I am getting older so being impractical is making more and more sense, ha!

Work has been super busy the last two years and since things have slowed down , somewhat , for me , I want to get back on the track ---a lot! Make up for only 1-2 visits the past few years and the 302s has been calling my name since I passed up on the one Mike Berardi purchased. Hope to do Time Trials this year and if health stays good , be back into door to door in 2019!
