Christmas next on the agenda for a lot of us. Did you ever notice there's a Holiday in almost every month of the year? Most include you spending some money in some way. Add in Birthdays, anniversaries and whatever else and you begin to realize all this is adding up! But most are for fun , so I'll let it go................

Still haven't gotten to the leaves in the yard this year, just the ones that come in the driveway (3 bagfuls so far). Have to run the gas out of the lawnmower...maybe tomorrow?..warmer tomorrow high 50's but showers moving in in the afternoon. In years past I was on top of this stuff but this year I can't seem to get motivated. I think the way the weather turned from summer like to winter over nite might have come into play. Or maybe that's just an excuse for me getting lazy as I get older?..Throw in the fact that my son is no longer here to help me with this and I'm up a tree with no paddle..or in a boat with no branch...you know what I mean.........

Rain and wind over nite yesterday. Next door neighbor cleans up his yard almost every day since the leaves started falling (at least 4 weeks now) but after last nite's storm our yards look the same with leaves everywhere. I may go out tomorrow and do some raking before the snow comes. I miss the old days when I was a kid..we'd rake all the leaves to a big pile in the street and then burn them, but that's against the law now....:(

Me & son got most of the leaves to the curb yesterday before the snow today. First time I'm leaving them at the curb since I'v been here (33yrs). I would usually bring them to the city transfer station, but next door does their leaves like that , I decided to try my luck. Leaves from the driveway are in bags and will have to be brought to the TS, unless I get real lazy and add them to the pile in front. Not getting as much snow as they predicted so far, unless we get a surge moving in soon? I"M NOT COMPLAINING!!!!!!!
