Good deal thanks. So is that higher than you ran the R6s? I typically start around 31-32 COLD on R6s to end up in the low 40s.

I always ran my R6s low, like 24-25 as well, was looking for 32 hot max. In the recommended ranges for R6 (high 30s hot) the grip would fall off towards the end of a session.

R7s have a softer sidewall so they need the increased pressures.

I always start 27 cold all around for my Pirellis. Set them first thing in the morning before the sun is up and then I don't touch them the rest of the day.

check out the advanced tire thread, I think it would help you.
First you need to know what "cold" is, then achieve the desired "hot" temps,(do whatever you have to do in order to get them to work) let them go back to "cold" and you now have a set of pressures to use at that particular (and similar) tracks....ASSUMING you start at the same "cold" pressure the next time you go out. If it is more than 5 degrees lower or higher, you will need to adjust the starting pressures to compensate for that.

FWIW I would take those Pirelli recommendations with a serious grain of salt......

Thanks. I will take a look! I try to keep things simple and avoid over-analyzing where I can, but it probably wouldn't hurt me to dig a little deeper into the realm of tire pressures...
