Once you lighten up that crust, you may be on to something...Good Luck!
From last Friday...not sure if two smaller pies are just more work.
Not sure, but. Those appear to have a fungus on them. Strange?
Fungus among us.
I'm a pep guy, I'll take the first one....like battery acid, soda will take care of any fungus....You guys have White Castle sliders out west?
Negative on the White Castle *anywhere* out west...unless you mean from the grocery FREEZER!
I didn't actually try them until about '02 when I was in Ohio for business.
In N Out > White Castle IMO.
Grant, now that I have more time to cook I want to master making pizza dough. Got any recipes or suggestions?
Agreed on In n Out. Ate there yesterday, and last Friday. Was on the top 10 of my list of reasons to move to CA.
This was on page 2 for the dough:
They had one in Orange when I lived there ...in like 87' lol
May be more work, but definitely worth the effort....Boss Man first!..Pizza guy Close second!...
White Castle Sliders only available in freezers here also. Only store I know of is in White Plains, New York....They're not bad in a pinch.....
Pizza for lunch
Pot roast for dinner
Went to The Habit the other day with my youngest. She loves In n Out...was a little surprised that she voted for something different. Better shakes and malts at the Habit but we weren't going for dessert. At least I got to have a double teriyaki burger.
Pizza looks amazing. We just got back for our 10 year Anni trip and I discovered Carbs & Mai-Tai's so I've started fasting again today. Going on a diet is cheaper than Carbon Fiber go faster parts, lol.
Pizza is my weakness, for sure! Pot Roast with mashed potatoes would be a close second! Add in a corn on the cob and I'm stayin for dessert!, whatever that may be is fine with me!..............Hon , Stop tearin at my shirt...............
All kidding aside, I hope hurricane Florence shows the south eastern coast a little mercy! Between the high winds and storm surge and the endless heavy rains our brothers and sisters down there are in for a rough ride.....My prayers are with you!!!!!!
I know it's been a mad house here in Virginia. They canceled my daughters school on Monday indefinitely and she still hasn't gone back yet. ..we got our first bit of rain today and that is just a tiny bit. We didn't even need an umbrella or a jacket when we went out.
Latest track of the hurricane may spare Virginia some grief and move it more south to affect Georgia. Only tyme will tell. Hope you do okay Wolvee!
Latest info shows Florence will hit land as a Strong Cat1 Hurricane but is slow moving which is bad for rain fall totals (flooding).Hopefully it won't be as bad as originally predicted. We may see remnants of this storm here in Ct by Tuesday in the form of lots of rain. Flooding and power out already in parts of the coastal Carolinas.
Hurricane Florence has made landfall in North Carolina as a Cat1 Hurricane. Some areas have received almost 30 inches of rain already and flooding is a major concern throughout the region. My pet peeve, watching this crisis develop, are those people who ignored the mandatory evacuation orders so they could "ride out the storm". These are the same people calling 911 for help now because flooding has them clinging to rafters in their attics. Emergency responders should not have to risk their lives trying to save people who put themselves in these dire situations un-needlessly. Those evacuation orders were issued for good reason! My rant is over....back to regular programming......................
