Whiteline Transmission Bushing Insert

The Whiteline bushing is now available. I'm somewhat skeptical that this will help but I'm in for feedback on how it works.

Yaaaay!

Not sure why it *would not* help.
FWIW BMW's have the same remote mounted shifter design as our cars, and most people simply change the transmission bushings to stiffer ones and it aleviates the problem.
This is essentially the same thing for our cars, but at 1/3rd of the price.

I will be putting an order for one....next season :)

I notice getting into gear is only difficult if I shift faster than the tranny would like me to--that's when I experience lock out. But slow, deliberate shifts on the circuit remedies this.

Rick:

Did you install the MGW shifter on your car? Or would this be an alternative to going with an aftermarket shifter? The MGW has improved things for me.....but on the track it's still a little vague.......am I shifting into 5th or 3rd at times. Just wondering if this can be incorporated with aftermarket shifters.

good question for the other vendors out there. I ordered the moment I had a part number to order from and I am waiting 2-3 weeks.
