Although Sacramento is known for the worlds best rice there's lots of corn and tomatoes grown locally. But my favorite seasonal crop is the strawberries.

I like making my own. Managing the dough is the hardest part. Got better after I started storing larger batches in the freezer.

I'm old school....When I order I use the phone...it even seems quicker to me. Once in a while I'll make my own pie also but those are becoming fewer and farther between.

Nothing wrong with that! I worked for a couple of pizza restaurants in school and making my own is more nostalgic than anything else for me.

I like to buy Il Fornaio pizza dough add my own toppings and sauce and then cook it on a pizza stone.

Cooking on a stone at the highest temp your oven will go will give the best result. Nothing like brick oven wood or coal fired tho... aka New Haven, CT style pizza......Pepe's, Sally's or Modern.

I cook on screens. Mostly because it's what I know and I can cook for a large party and have everything set in advance to pop in the oven.

I put ketchup on everything including steak but not on ham. My sister-in-law swears by it tho.

Sean, I truly understand what you're saying...a ham/bacon egg cheese sandwich with a little ketchup,salt & pepa is the bomb. Not so much with the Easter plate with ham covered with ketchup.... ...My sister-in law would still kill me if she saw this.

Yep, exactly! I have done the ham on Ketchup thing before and it was pretty good. Taylor Ham isn't like real ham and sort of a breakfast kind of thing:
