Race gas will give you another 25-28hp on stock tune. I am now running Sunoco 260gt 100 octane.
Don't put to much faith in dyno numbers. No two measure the same.

SAE. The Ford guys here said Race Fuel is good for about 15hp, under hot conditions. Not so much if ambient temperatures are below 75-80.....
Good to know. Still worth blending it higher than the 91 we have around here though.

Car looks beautiful. Probably a blast on the track

High octane on the track is a must. E85 can't be used without an aftermarket tune which will definitely void the warranty if that matters to the OP

I understand that a tune and E85 will void the warranty. So does tracking the car.

Tracking a car does not void your warranty. Ford wants you to take your car to the track and we proved this time and time again with the Bosses. What voids your warranty is modifying your drive train.

From what I understand if the car is raced and timed, or raced in a competition event the warranty will be voided.
And from what I understand that doesn't matter if it's stock or modified.

Just finished 3 days at VIR with the Mustang Superfest. Friday was mostly lost to rain, but Saturday and Sunday were fantastic days with great conditions and wonderful people.

Got a better feel for the car. On R7's square it's extremely well balanced. The GLOC Race pads inspire way more confidence -- braking distances are actually very, very good on the stock pads, the GLOC pads have better feel, and never faded, but only marginally improved late braking. That said I wouldn't switch back. I now have a better appreciation for the damper control in transitions -- this car just sticks. Amazing!

My best lap at VIR is now 4.3 seconds faster than the Boss.

Have another day tomorrow with Chin, and hope to get some coaching 8)

Great news! You are destroying your old times, but I think it's as much driver as it is car. You were always fast but just keep getting ridiculously faster. Congrats on setting new personal bests and have a great time again tomorrow!

Much more humid and hotter today. Got some coaching and improved a couple of lines, but shift points were later so power was obviously down. Got within 2/10's of yesterday's time. This car is amazing, the more I drive it the more I realize what a great job the dampers are doing. Hoosier's were good for 20 cycles (about 9.5 hours) and then corded, grip was still great. GLOC pads are still good after 4 full track days, but will likely need changing.

Will measure pads & Rotors and post details, later this week.

Fantastic to hear that report. I wonder how much better the R dampers and CF wheels are versus the GT350. Can ypu tell a big difference from the TA cars? Of course it's tough to compare since you're on Hoosiers with better pads. Glad to hear the consumables are holding up so well!
