I think it's just the depth of focus of the camera giving the silhouette a much wider and "lowered hood" look; I'll bet it's just that the perspective generated by the camera lens used there makes the rest of the car (mirrors, greenhouse) look farther away and therefore smaller.

I think you're right but I hope you're not.

Tomorrow should be interesting :)

The stance from the front looks amazing. The hype is part of the fun! I typically don't get that interested in buying "stuff" so it's kind of fun getting to act like a kid at Christmas again ;)

Like a kid at Christmas...but the toys are way more expensive!

Wish it wasn't CGI video. But if anyone wants here is the txt saved as a PDF from Ford's website.

Down below it states "We’ll know more when the car is officially unveiled at this week's 2014 Los Angeles auto show"

Wonder what day?

tob just posted this on svtp

"We just got the Ford Parts leaked 19 X 10.5 /19 X 11 wheel combination out of the way. Also listed was a 19x11 CF front/19x11.5 CF RR combination. The GT350 is on the left in the following photo. Regardless of material, that looks to be the "R" (if that's what it'll be) wheel on the right."

"Today, at Shelby's Gardena, CA facility, Ford and Shelby American will be unveiling the new 5.2L naturally aspirated 500-plus horsepower 2016 GT350 by Ford."

Any idea what time? If there will be a feed of it? Wonder if anyone in forum land will be there?

Very interested to see the pictures of the real, physical car. I was a bit disappointed that they used CGI for the final video that was released today. I'm sure some of that has to do with schedule constraints and vehicle availability but it's just not the same as the real thing :)

Good article explaining the debut later today at Gardena...one of the few times I wish I lived in Cali! :-(

Ford chose the Gardena location to pay homage to the late Shelby’s Southern California roots. Shelby built his eponymous cars first in Venice and later near Los Angeles International Airport. Carroll Shelby International is headquartered in Gardena.

The word is they were slammed getting the car ready for the LA Auto Show and that video needed to be ready several days ago. I'm sure the car wasn't ready by the video deadline. I also doubt I'll get to crawl around the car at the show. I'm sure it will be up on a pedestal and locked.
