I may start this part ahead of time with a heat gun.TMSBOSS said:PeteInCT said:How long did it take ?
About 2.5 hours. First 20-30 minutes was removing the shift knob without destroying it. Hair dryer and elbow grease finally worked.

You"ll learn something along the way and you will get a lot of satisfaction you did the install.302BOB said:If removing the shift knob was the hardest part of this install, I would get a MGW in a heartbeat. Good luck to you guys that will be getting yours soon. I know I want one, but I'm still on the fence about getting it installed.

Please post pics of install. That would be really nice. ;D I just ordered the shifter last week as well. I was told they wouldn't charge the credit card until it actually ships... Has MGW charged you yet? Where you getting the alcantra boots? Sounds like a nice upgrade...
Thanks...
they havent charged my card yet so I take that as it hasnt shipped yet
the hardest part is the wait for them to ship it. lol302BOB said:If removing the shift knob was the hardest part of this install, I would get a MGW in a heartbeat. Good luck to you guys that will be getting yours soon. I know I want one, but I'm still on the fence about getting it installed.
